My dad got his rifle at a rendezvous in St. Louis after its owner out-shot me and my .303 British Enfield TC Hawken. My friend (Isiah) said his favorite caliber is the .303 British Enfield he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
The best shooting caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a .303 British Enfield. My favorite rifle is everything made by Tikka. I like higher power scopes as in 4x12 - 4.5x14 on the Tikka T-3 Lite.
