Marlin 1895M 270 Weatherby magnum Review

I picked up my Marlin 1895M in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Catskill. The best caliber is a tossup between the 30-06 and 270 Weatherby magnum. My grandfather bought it at a pawn shop in Catskill so I don't know if Kitty would take it back or repair it.
